AIG ILIYASU CONDEMNS ARREST OF RAMS, ORDERS RELEASE, ASKS FOR INVESTIGATION

The Assistant Inspector General of Police, Zone 2 Command Onikan Lagos, AIG Ahmed Iliyasu psc+ has ordered the release of five rams earlier arrested by Police Officers, at the Ladegboye Base, Ikorodu in Lagos State.

Speaking to the journalists in his Office, AIG Iliyasu said investigation is still on going about the vandalization of the "Lexus SUV" car, the stolen brain box, and  the conducts of the officers for unlawful arrest adding that appropriate punitive measures will be taken.

According  to the AIG Ahmed, the Nigeria Police Force, is working assiduously  to make Nigeria a crime free zone saying there will be no room for any officer to violate fundamental  human rights of an individual, otherwise  face the wrath of law.

He enjoined the residents of Lagos and Ogun state in particular to stay at home and maintain hygienic environment at this period of pandemic adding that Police will not relent in its efforts  to make our society a comfortable place for living.
