TMnews Award focuses greatly in honouring, rewarding and celebrating excellence, particularly on individual and corporate bodies, whose philosophies are geared towards improving the lots of humanity such is CSP ALOKO AMODU (DPO Idiroko Division) has been identified as one quintessential personage whose professional acumen has greatly turned around Security positions in Nigeria.

However, there is no doubting the fact that TMnews has selected him for EXCELLENCE AWARD IN SECURITY MATTERS at the 6th Edition of TMnews Conferment of Honour and Award 2018 coming up in the city of Abeokuta Ogun State on Sunday 18th November, 2018 at Continental Hotel & Suites Ibara.

CSP Aloko Amodu started his policing career in Niger State on 15th August 1996, enlisted as cadet ASP and was commissioned in 1998 as ASP II. 

CSP Aloko Amodu was born on 1st of March, 1970 through the family of Mr. and Mrs Aloko Jacob Ajoh who hails from Duduguru in Obi LGA. 

At the age of five, he started his primary education at RCM Trans School Duduguru in Nassarawa State between 1975 and 1980 before proceeding to St. john Bosco Secondary School Doma in 1983 and later to Government Science Secondary School Lafia where he completed his secondary education in 1985. 

He got admitted into school of preliminary studies in keffi from 1985 to 1987, in 1989 he was admitted to Ahmedu Bello University Zaria where he obtained B.Sc in Political Science in 1993 and did his NYSC in Imo State in 1994.

Aloko was confirmed as ASPI on 15th August, 1998 in Niger State where he was posted for one year attachment. Thereafter, he served as  DTO in Mokoa between May and November, DCO Enagi Division, DCO 'A' Division Bida in same November 1999. 

In January 2003, he continues as DCO 'A' Division Kontagora and got promoted to DSP on 1st February same year. He served as DCO in Katcha division in March until November 2003 when he became paymaster of Niger state command.

He was promoted to SP on 8th August, 2006 and later transferred to force secretary office FHG Abuja in February 2009. 

In 2010 he was transferred back to Niger State where he served as DPO Matubi division, in November and 2011 he served as DPO Tundun Wada division in Minna for six months before transferred to Shiroro Division same Minna in May 2012 as DPO. 

Aloko served at Wushishi division between January and April 2013 as DPO and as DPO 'B' division at same Minna. He continues as DPO Mbo division Akwa-Ibom till July 2015 when he became 2i/c to the Area commander Port Harcourt Rivers State. 

He later transferred as DPO Bonny Island Rivers State in September, 2015 and DPO Kpor division Gokana LGA Rivers State. He proceeded in the force as o/c fraud unit SCIID Port Harcourt in 2016 and 2i/c Area Commander Ilaro Ogun State in January, 2017. 

CSP Aloko was transffered to Idiroko Division in July 2017 and serving till date as DPO. 

In the discharge of his duties as a father and police officer, Aloko puts God first, gives his best for the interest of humanities and this earned him many awards such as Peace Award by Atewogboye Wives of Idiroko in 2018, Certificate of Proficiency in Character and Service to Humanity by African Leadership Research and Development Organization 2018, Nera Security and Safety excellence award 2018 by Fraadic media communications among others.

CSP Aloko Amodu is happily married to Mrs Anita Aloko and blessed with three lovely children.
